It's not a great warm up, and the texture is brutal on your finger tips. I always end up bleeding moving onto the headwall, and the big move to the proper anchors is too far for this guy.

Seems to a climb of two halves. Balancy slabbing then slight overhung crimps. Should go close to getting lower anchors(20) next time.

The dog stays in his kennel, 2 attempts 1 hang. Improving technically, but still have to work on my hand jams...finger locks no problem, so weird. The crux is at the third bolt transitioning from jamming to laybacking.

Chuffed to get to the 4th bolt clean, but a lot of dogging to get to the 5th, and I've absolutely no idea how you get to the anchors from there.

Goes all on gear, with an extra star - one of the best trad climbs in Sydney! Needs big gear, used a BD # 6 to protect the body slot and take care with cams in flaring groove towards the top.

Fell on the first crack. Didn't have solid foot jams coupled with some slippery hands and a flared crack. Tricky. Laid on my back in the cave for a clip near the top. Glad I gave it a try and definitely keen to get a clean ascent next time.

Lowered Tom off and then top roped this, removing the gear he placed. Got it clean the whole way. Such a beautiful climb I think it deserves another star!

Goes on gear. Clipped the two bolts at the offwidth as we didn't have a #5/#6. Would go without them (or with only one safely), but the bolts were too tempting . the initial crack was beautiful, and i'm starting to feel strong on hand jams. Found the offwidth easy thanks to jugs on the right side. Top section was a bit mossy in the crack that was used for protection, but i resisted clipping more bolts.

A tricky sequence down low leads to a some awkward body positions higher up. Fun climb none the less, but not itching to repeat it.

What was I thinking picking an offwidth as a warm up climb before 9am and before I had coffee. I wanted a fight today and this climb gave it to me. 3 very distinct sections, the first 2 are offwidth using various techniques to make progress and the 3rd is a really nice hand crack. More people should get on this, I love watching others on Offwidths.

Pretty sustained for the first 5 bolts. Get your jams ready for this curvy bad boy. Jams aren't that straight forward and require a bit of jiggery pokery. Found a solution to the crux but that might only work for me as I can thank my parents for the right genes which have led to right size fist. Painful hand jamming on sharp rock (doesn't help when you buddy brings crack gloves for the same hand). I can't claim glory for this lead because I got it on second attempt. And I also applied the dirty tactic of sending my partner up first so I could learn from his pain and suffering. Have to get some daipers if I were ever to do it on gear and probably will set the seen to change its name to 'Boggy till you Poop Part II'.

Awkward offwidthy start - Joey looked better smearing the face. Took 1 rest after clipping the 3rd bolt - disappointed to lose the onsight but should go clean next time if I use fists there instead of hands. Remember to rack up draws on the right.
