Spend half an hour balancing on your big toes trying to find some more feet. Who doesn't love a downward trending slab traverse?

A much spicier (ie slopier) topout than I remember. Probably more of a v1

Good short Trad climb. Small cams in the middle and some big ones for the anchor at the top. Topout is a bit exciting.

Those slopers in the middle took a while to get. Fun

A perfect end to my lockdown spree. The last real bouldering project I had left in my LGA. Put up over 100 new boulders onto the crag during lockdown and this is likely to be the last. Cya all on the sharp end! (When I say all i mean Jake Delaney )

It Took 3 bleeding fingers to get this and a lot of air leg pumping. One for the pistol squatters.

Get your heel above your head is my advice. Thin crimping in the middle.

watch those pulleys on the start. i managed to just about jam 2 fingers into the R starting pocket. also Ondra style 2 different shoes beta was key for me. could possibly be a version without the throw to the lip, keeping low on pockets? would be hard

Finally got the full low start. Quite a technical route, at least when you are dealing with my level of strength

lost a lot of skin on the thin sidepull you have to pull like crazy on to gain feet. ouch. Somewhat of a 1 move wonder. but a cool move

I never get I first time.

Finally figured it out. Definitely more groin level crimps than head level.

A pretty unusual route, smooth face with great pockets. Loved it. Stacked mono crux. mmmmmmm. v4? maybe v3. who knows anymore. As Vermin Sherman says, grades are like a big turd you do after a good meal. this is a good meal.

A bit scary up top, i'm glad no holds broke. they all seem bomber. great line. Ive decided to claim FA's again after thinking more about historic climbers claiming blanket FAs for an entire area, without recording any details to help us climbers or any proof climbs are the same. Not that i necessarily dont believe them, i just dont think you deserve the FA. Its like an Astronomer discovering and describing a new cluster of planets and publishing the research, then some older astronomer saying 'oh i found all them ages ago. i didn't bother to name them, describe them, tell anyone but my mates, record any details but i definitely found them before you.' soz guys. show me a guidebook, anything, with descriptions that match and i will concede you did it first. but you better have given it a name. Or just get over it.

Q. What's more annoying? A boulderer wearing a hat or not wearing a shirt while climbing. A. I need to get a life If I had more time maybe a hard linkup to this great r hand crimp would have appeared. I couldn't find it today.

A powerful compression move to start. Took many tries to get established and then throw up to the sloper, especially as if you sag a bit too far you end up leaning on the other boulder. You know in your soul if you truly dabbed.

It needed a name

can get all the way to the lip at keyboard climbers but by then i have nothing left.

many attempts until i throw to the ledge one too many times and sliced my finger. next time!

new top section. I tidied up all the climbs here as most of them have lower starts that i hadnt noticed before.

Hooray a top out finally on this wall! I felt like old mate blaxland or whatever discovering a pass through the mountains. 2 mantles in one climb, probs should of called it mickey mantle.

took me more attempts this time than when i first climbed it. maybe i was tired from cleaning so much lichen of the thing. such a great climb

interesting traverse. its all about the feet. smeary feet and slopey top. had me sweating. Which crusty will come out of hiding to retroactively claim this one? its a fun game

great idea of Meeeeeeee. oh man was that ledge dirty. once i transferred all that dirt to my hair and body it went.

love it. I wore down an inch of my wire brush cleaning this whole slab but it was very worth it.

a way to end the big traverse with a big move

im lichen these climbs YES!

probs my favourite climb on the boulder. beautiful wavy features makes for nice movement. did many repeats.

man that drop down move when you have to stop your downward motion and keep going is a killer. gonna need a lot of power to get through the last big move too.
