Ascents in Hobart and surrounds as Hang dog

Took 3 goes to do start move, then took a rest at v-overlap. Might have lost a bit of finger strength on trip.

I rest (I forgot to take enough quickdraws, needed to get one chucked up).

Jumped onlead, placing draws hard but ok. Fall at crux. Also did a tr burn (2 falls) to finish. Too hot to tick in sun.

went to high up corner and fell of. Ok when back on line

Harder than I remember. Thin at bolt 2.

A bit hard for me today

Really fun moves, just too buggered to get it together

Flash pumporama on the low crux. Great route.

Tom lead first third. I lead the rest. Took a rest at crux. Ive forgotten how to jam. Ended up laybacking. Ive turned into a sport climber.

rest at 2nd last bolt. Balls.

With Nic, fell about a metre from the top of the off width. The perfect wrong size crack.

With Steve, one rest leading the second pitch, rest followed clean.

Cool climb. Felt hard though!

With neets, pretty contrived at the start, and a bit dirty. Not sure where it's meant to go at the top. Started raining half way up.

With neets, did direct start, tried direct finish but it was seeping rather badly.

With neets, pretty dirty, couldn't do the crux at the start. Good climbing in the middle, off width at the top wasn't much fun.

With neets, fell at the crux, thought I was on Commoners Crown for some reason. Final corner is very dirty.

Pumped out on jam crack. Boo!

Hard start with hand and finger crack, then traverse to easier ground. Second pitch slightly easier. 2 rests first pitch, 1 rest second pitch

This route is well worth doing: great position, great rock, great moves!
