Didn't mean to climb this, but the thought provoking slab / corner finish is thought provoking fun. Where do I put my hands?!

sketchy and scary. not too much good gear lower on the arete

Fun climb! Only the 2 FH no anchors above to lower off. Able to walk off via dead tree located round the side of the climb or can lower off the anchors found on the grade 22 called hard sht. Ended up walking off down climbing the dead tree and stick clipping the quickdraws to remove them.

Climbed the first pitch of The Mice Were Furious then went well off route finishing up Steve's Delight. Have to come back another day when the weather is better and now that we know our way around.

Not too bad, just sharp rock and not sure where to go momentarily made me pause off the rock.

Returned to finish it off properly. Cold windy day. Reached the bottom of the abseil at last light. Walked out to the car in the dark. Managed to A) find my car keys, B) stay on route and C) have nobody die.

A few PB’s; Hardest climb (it’s a 17), longest climb (130m), coldest and windiest, winter climb, abseil in the dark.

Great lead by Dan as the sun set. Pleasantly surprised to discover the crack goes on longer than expected.

Great climb, did it clean on second attempt and placing gear. Great jamming. Good placements in crack, bring cams

My broken fingers let me get up one route at least. Good fun slab and the classic hand crack to finish.

Some worthwhile moves up there, fun! The hangers look to be a different finish from the bolts, and the bolts themselves don't seem to have adequate thread exposed with barely enough gripping the nuts. Needs to be re-bolted.

followed first 3 bolts, then practically solo'd up the crack to the anchor

boldly attempted in approach shoes, needless to say, it did not go down very well

Did the Piker's Variant to clean the route. Not trad, easy to clip the bolts.

Didn't get it clean on the TR solo

would have been really scary on lead, props to liam for leading it

Very interesting moves.

Bit of a mind game on lead. Relatively featureless and slippery slab climbing made for a nervous ascent. Protected the first bolt with a cam instead for fun.

First time on this after several weeks hiatus. This wall is lit in the morning, so wasn't too cold for winter climbing.

So much fun i did it again!

Seconded it to go back to the car to get my bolt plates.

Always nice. I had to go back for a cam for between the 2nd and 3rd bolt. It pays to read the guide book.

The start is such an easy ramble, the top is nothing but pressure. Didn’t place any gear so I guess it was a sport climb

first climb of the day, did not expect the 10ish meter runout to the chains because thecrag says it has 12 bolts

Wigged out and grabbed the third bolt instead of getting a draw on it from an uncomfortable stance.

Best route here on a warm day. Couldn't work out the transition to the R crack at the top on today's 2 attempts so bridged past off the back wall.

A quick diversion while waiting for the ferry

The flake between the bolt and the overlap which probably is used by every climber coming past in the third pitch does not only sound very hollow on knock, knock but also makes cracking noises and seems to bend. Very disconcerting when you climb solo. Climbers be careful! 🙂

Great warm-up. Don't forget to take a sling for the second runner.

Terrifying as an onsight attempt. I completely froze near the third bolt after struggling to find holds, just staring blankly at the rock, feeling scared and slowly peeling off, but I snapped out of it. Forced myself to look around again, found a hold I missed, and topped out. Annoyingly, my slips were all just after clipping the first bolt, in the easier part, because I didn't see a good crimp above me. I didn't use a stick clip, placed a black totem and a yellow totem in the crack at the start instead.
