Ascents in Melbourne and Surrounds as Ground up red point

2nd go. Dry fired off a crimp down low first try.

Great climb, did it clean on second attempt and placing gear. Great jamming. Good placements in crack, bring cams

2nd go. Deserves the two stars. Great climb!

Bit mossy at the top, however still nice enjoyable climbing

Ruined the onsight! Missed the sidepull and fell at the first bolt...yikes!

Yo-yo ascenton an onsight attempt 25 years in the making (took me awhile to get around to this). Tried it as a warm up and fell on the traverse down low. Went back to the no-hander and went through fine. Classic route - totally up to its hype.

I lead this but got off route. I didn’t go right onto the arete correctly and ended up doing most of State of Shock but bailed on the last bolt. I lowered to the ground and did it from the ground up again.

We still weren’t clear where the route traversed so I did it low and went up the chimney before the arete and protected it with a cam before continuing.
