Ascents in Wards Hill having Beta

Short but punchy! Thanks to Freya for all the beta, definitely would have dropped it otherwise!

Dry fired at the first bolt, lowered and sent. Quite nice. Backed off alot from the second bolt

Nice climbing, I think the old hanger is fine but I'm glad I didn't test it!

Blank section between the 2nd and 3rd had me completely stumped, could not figure it out at all! From just after this to the top is amazing though, some really awesome climbing! Would love to come back and try and figure out the blank section but had absolutely no idea today!

Pretty great climb! Bolt to bolt the first lap for beta, then got it done. Crux is definitely getting past the first bolt, especially with it soaking wet!

Did the sections (except the undercling), but putting this altogether seems bloody hard!

No idea how to get to the 2nd bolt on this. 2nd half is nice though

Felt better on this today than last time. Some progress atleast. Between second and third feels hard still.

Absolutely nails start. Sent clean to the top from the slab on top rope at about grade 20.

Alot easier than the other 24s at wards. A few small holds and tough crimps the it's done.

Went nicely today after a quick lap recalling the beta. Great fun with the underclings

Spent too much skin trying to figure out the beta on this one. Does go though.

Very thin but okay if you like thin crimps. Hopefully will go next session.

Finally done. Great climb, good last few moves above the bolt. Felt cruisy on the last attempt. Extend the last draw so it doesn't sit on the last hold.

Spewin I didn't send today. 99% sent just fell off the last move twice. The anchor draw sits in a terrible position. Clipping the second also is quite sketchy.

Not a bad route. thin start, interesting moves in the middle then thin finish. Will attempt to send next session.

Forgot everything but then Elliot unlocked some new crimp beta which works well. Feeling more confident on this route now.

Great route. Tough crux start then eases off through middle with nice face climbing.

Played around on a tope rope. All go from the start. Great moves on this but not easy at all.

Alot harder start than black panther and similar at the top. Got it figured so hopefully can send next session.

All moves done just gotta link em up. Dogged to anchors. 4th bolt high point on free attempt. Name is very apt.

Annoyed that I stuffed up the Onsight. Hard to read from the ground, but opens up nicely through the climb.

Hard AF start.

Such a nice flow; great climb. Found new beta which saved me a couple of moves on the send.

Not that hard really but got worked after slamming into the rock so gave up. Potentially really bad falls on this if you slip clipping the anchors.

Decent route. Probably a good warm up climb. Definitely don't want to be climbing to that first bolt without it clipped. Only 2 bolts and then anchors.

Great climb. Really sustained with fun movement throughout.

Ridiculous to grade this 17 unless holds have fallen off. The start is insane. At minimum grade 20 start probably harder.

Really nice climbing, just got too gassed by the 5th bolt.

A few nice jams on this. Brought 2nd up from belay on tree behind.

Nearly there today. Just need to be fresh for the crux.
