Ascents in Walyunga National Park having Beta

Solo session

Did just the crack, no slab top hahahahahaha

Awesome climb - long throws and solid heel hooks required. Beware slightly dodgy landing (may send spotter rolling down hill).

Sit-start into a few powerful compression/undercling moves ('straight-up' beta without toe-hook or sloper to the right), then cruisey but mildly scary upper section.

Really sketchy start which is incongruent with the climbing that follows.

Really great climb. Start would be very hard if you're under 6 foot I think. Sketched out for the higher bits with only the one pad. Would come back with more pads/spotters.

Flake was creaking and groaning so backed off.

Very uncomfortable and awkward mantle at end. Blood was seen and spent.

Up there for one of the best climbs I've done in Perth. Super powerful and cool sequence.

Cool problem. One bouldery move to establish into the corner and then just heady and committing top out. Didn't find it really hard, instead was more around getting weight over the foot and then standing up.

Great problem! Found the left hand catch at the start hard. Knee bar helped alot to establish the underclings

Amazing movement. Found it quite sequencey. Managed to reach the top hold by straddling / sitting on the blade.

Cool to do a big throw on rock. Really fun

Maybe easier than v7? I rocked over first before bumping the hand up for the second time and felt like easier beta. Hard to tell though
