Ascents in Perth having Beta

I cant believe anyone has led this... Where do you put the pro ??

Easy climb for MM. First trad climb to use only my own gear. Was fun.Height seems right. Grade seems right. No proper guide so I assume this is the climb.

Crux was near ground and before any useful pro can be placed. It was a cool move made easier if you can get the knee-bar no-hands-rest. Top out was fun too.

Finally able to trust my feet

Hard slopey crux. Not climbable in winter.

Bloody hard and terrifying. It needs a good clean. Pulling through those roofs is super difficult... if you make it that far. Maybe you do need a month of sundays to climb this thing.

This would be good for anyone looking at getting into trad.

Pleasant enough climbing, worth doing to reach On Edge (above). Use the last third as an opportunity to practice your trad placements.

I don't think I was on route as there was no 17 moves. I think staying further right would have helped. Also loose rocks just below the anchors.

Yea Onsite slab climbing when rock is wet doesn't get any better !!!

Gave this a proper onsight attempt. Couldn't get past third bolt. Bloody desperate footwork required. This climb hasn't been attempted much. It was covered in mould, and an ascent in those temperatures with the mould would be impossible. Going to return in winter with a brush and tick it! Awesome climb.

There is a direct variation to this route which is harder

Committing moves to get to the first bolt.

Tricky start. Good warm up to get used to the footwork required for the Wungong slabs. Run out at the top but a pre placed nut helped with that.

Contrived yes, but great rock and moves.

Doing this after sunset made it super fun. Interesting crux.

Did this after dark. Fun crux wall at the bottom which gives it the 17, up some easy cruising through to the top.

Excellent slabby moves on upper half. Protect start with small cams in crack

Fell due to a large block detaching from the top of this climb. Didn't feel like continuing.

Slabby and balancey

Hard to find some holds. Really great climbing with lovely moves.

Step back in time to quarry climbing in the '60s - felt more like a 16 to me.
