This climbing Region encompasses amazing quality rock and magnificent views and wide diversity of styles.

Copper Mountain is magnificent granite cliff that looms over Terrace Community and is the first cliff face that you encounter as you drive into terrace from the Terrace Airport.

Hike the main North end copper trail (orange Tape) until you reach love on the rocks. All the areas are well marked with timber signs attached to trees on the approach trail.

Starts with overhanging flakes, pull yourself through the overhanging flakes and over onto the arête. Climb the arête until the holds disappear and forces you onto the right side slab. The crux is the first two bolts on the slab face, work past these to easier slab climbing above to the anchors.

A pristine piece of granite slab that gradually becomes more vertical as it ascends. The face has two distinct cracks that run up the middle of the slab from 10m above base, all the way to the top of the cliff face. The total length of the cracks is 70m that can be climbed in a single pitch with long rope, or split into two pitches. Well worth the day out.

This route is best climbed in a single long pitch if you have a 70m rope.

This is a fun little crag only 20min drive from Kitimat Village heading towards Haisla Community.

This is a great climb and very challenging for the grade. It requires technical footwork, powerful underclings and side pulls of less than positive edges on technical feet. This route is best climbed only using the face holds up to the 4th bolt, "avoid using the lager side pulls and pinch blocks that are in the obvious groove that runs up the right hand side of the face". Solid for the grade.

Extsew is only 30min out of Terrace heading towards Prince Rupert and is home to some of the most accessible high quality sport climbing in the area.

This route is best climbed in 2 pitches by linking the first two pitches to the 2nd anchor and then if you still feel keen, finish the last easier 5.8, or alternatively just rap from the 2nd anchor.

This route is best climbed in a single long pitch. you can break up the route, but it flows better as a single long route. The second pitch goes free at grade of 5.11b, alternatively you can pull on the gear through the bolt ladder into the easier terrain above which goes at 5.10a.
