Ascents in Le sauna

Chossy and sandbagged. Pretty run-out.

Nice route. Beaucoup dans les pieds. Il ya quelques runnout cependant.

Starting to get mossy.

Post-Covid, starting to look like a lot of lichen on it -- but all the climbed bits are just fine.

Not gotten enough traffic since Covid times, so getting a bit mossy. Mossy enough that there's a bail quick link part way up.

Chossy slab, kind of hard for the grade.

Couldn't pull the opening, so dodged it.

I've lost strength, so not able to pull the start -- rest was fine.

Tried to pull the start a few times -- so not my style. Then dodged it with a scramble, and did the rest of the climb.

A few bits of tricky (thin) slab.

Hard opening moves -- to pull onto the face.

Had a foot-hold in the black dike break under me while reaching to clip a draw to a bolt, but happily didn't fall.

Nice friction climbing on the upper section -- though having the rock occasionally crumble a bit under my shoes was disconcerting on lead. This will get better as the climb gets a few more ascents.

I quite enjoy this, but it is definitely easier than its moderate sport neighbours to the left.

A nice slab climb, if you like that sort of thing (which I do).

Lots of wasps under an overlap near the top, though.
