Good to put this mega classic down after admiring it for a week or so. Cheeky hidden holds around the crux

One of the better 7as I've done

What a route! There's a bit of a trend of me coming back to a proj in the afternoon shade, doing really well but then having a slip, and sending it an hour later. 4th gp overall. Was much more technical than I initially expected, as there are limited feet. Once I used a bit less of the crack it went down.

Great route, but felt easier than some 6b at the crag..

Tricky move on polished holds at the bottom but then amazing technical climbing to the top! Second go.

Classic Buox: pockets and runouts. Add two wet sections and some stemming and you got the perfect combo. Pretty good, just don’t fall!

6th shot over a couple of days. Not my style at all but on the send it went swimmingly and was so much fun!

Repeat attempt for a warmup( Stephen Varney 's draws were on it)... not clean today, a single flash pumped senseless fall near the end of the main arete section.

Thought I could tick this as a warmup, but no, its just too damn sequency and pumpy! Had to Send it 2nd shot today. Easyish 1st half before you gain the arete proper, then its full insecure intensity to the top. Bloody great.

Classic Buoux sustained foot-free jumping between 2-finger pockets through much steepness, but the bolting on the initial steep moves is dangerous (I had some bad falls onto the slab). Was super excited for a Buoux 7b+ proj until encountering a single move near the top that is just BARELY beyond me. Aside from the chipping, this is terrific fun.

The top roof-cap got me (might've been okay if it had a drop of chalk on the key holds), but not before I had a small epic ending up way off-route in the lower half and getting quite pissed off. An amazing blunt-arete feature which I cruiiiiised, with arete slapping and all kinds of awesome. I'll have to come back for the tick.

This thing is utterly nails! So insecure, powerful, and proverbially runout. No way I was gonna lead it. Resting all the way.

Magnifiquè! 2nd shot with much shrieking like a banshee and searching for my retracting balls. All the business-end is crazy runout and very insecure. A nails hard friction slab. A complex seam-crack. Some steep arete-slapping and pocket-pulling, and a final very steep incipient finger crack. Surely this would be 26 back home? 100% my style, and froth-factor set to 11.
