For me my hardest project this year. I'm no crack climber and just put one jam in the crux, therefore it felt harder than 8-. Despite that wonderful route.
Fantastic! Long crack. Always thought it was called Der Shrek, either way the mossy rock makes you green. Key is to place minimal protection (3 small cams on top of 3 bolts) and speed over the bulging crux by dülfering on shallow jams.
Full trad. Allegedly the oldest line in Ettringen (1995?). Amazing skyscraping dream crack. The final bulge brings a flaring handcrack all the way at the end which is an awkward mean onsightkiller.
3 tries today. Beautiful movement on small crimps. I needed a long time to figure out my Beta for the crux between the 3rd and 4 th bolt.
But I dont knwo where the chipped holds are, so probably an 8+
At last!!! After years of trying . Low humidity was key. Some additional strength helped as well - could finally rest at the rest. Fantastic conditions today for June. Propose an upgrade to 7c+. #hard
Very trickyarete. Did an inbetween variation with a handpalm mantle between B3 and B4 (between lefthand version and the continuous layback of the ‘direct’ version). Ultra-low humidity on a cold and overcast day (in june!) made the difference. Ca colle! Climbed straight after Exquilibrium placing the draws except the unclippable (for me at least) B2.
