Similar to "Im Schweinsgalopp durchs Zuckerbäckerland", but without the big ledge of "Pausenbrot" (stay beneath) as far as "Nussecke", top out "Zuckerbrot und Peitsche"

Künstlich geschaffene Quacke aus Beuchaer Granitporphyr mit 3,5 m Höhe. Keine AÖ und kein GB. Das Gestein wurde erstmalig belegbar 1477 in der Gegend abgebaut.

Private property, rented by the diving club. Leave no trace, don't block the access.

Used for climbing since 1939, the Westbruch has lost importance due to the continued rising of the water table. Consequently, it became a diver's destination (the quarry is rented by a diving club), while most routes have lost their lower parts. For nearly all routes, reaching the base requires rapelling-in or boat access. While the water is clean and fit for swimming, the suitability for DWS is limited because of the partially submerged terraces and the sub-vertical walls.
