Ascents in Aegean Islands having Beta

Somewhat dubious rock.Solid for the grades. Had to work hard on every pitch except the first.Required a lot of grit and dogged determination

Took the 7am boat, topped out 1145. Climbing wise not the best kalymnos has to offer. The starting traverse of the crux pitch was fun but most of the time is spent crimping on very sharp limestone. The rock on the 4th pitch is also a bit loose which I found out the hard way by taking a whip when a foothold broke loose.

The views and exposure are mind blowing though, definitely making up for the less than amazing climbing.

It's a journey! Crazy long route 75m! 3d climbing with a lot of rests! Thanks to patient belayers! Supposely 8b, but I can't really tell since I've onsighted it!

First 8a onsight. 35m tufafest with kneebars everywhere. Took me well over an hour to figure shit out. Spent most of that in the crux sacrificing calves and skin trying to figure it out with wethe feet:') wish more rooves like this existed

Super fun route. May be the best one at Griffig's upper level. Get on it.

Very sharp crimps. Luckily I ticked this first go, don't think my skin would have survived a round 2

My best onsight performance ever. 1h30' on 45°/50° impressive overhang cave - this monster route fits perfectly my climbing style and this Os was my dream for two years... a long time waiting for perfect meteo and phisical conditions. (Pure onsight, no info, no kneepads)

40m of roofy jugs and kneebars. Two distinct bouldery sections but no moves that are too hard. I wouldn’t give this 8a with how many great rests there are. But the route does suit me well. Such an amazing climb regardless!! An adventure through tufas and stalactites.

7c+

7c/c+. Amazing battle. Several cruxy sections between very good rests which may ruin your T-shirt.

8a/8a+

Sweet route, a little bouldery getting to the 3rd bold and then like 7b to the top.

Tough onsight! 2 boulders with plenty of rests, good route.

Beautiful route a little soft if you're used to use your knees on tufas.

Woop. First 7c+ OS. Getting stronger. Nice to have some hard moves in a line and not just endurance from bottom to top. Getting stronger. Getting into this tufa rumbling

Hmmmmmm. Reading between the line. Tad on the easy side if you read it just right. Don't read it right and it's hard!

Always walked past this and thought the top tufa looked like fun. It didn't disappoint.

Probs more 7cish? Had to pull hard though when a few holds broke while entering the crux.

First 5.13 (7c+) Onsight! Super stoked that I stayed calm and didn't blow it at the top crux! This route has a few big moves in between consistent, hard climbing. Good rests like a lot of these routes makes this one another world class route on this wall.

Amazing wondery climb. Cool moves everywhere! Just a shame you can get a hands free rest in the middle.

More like caving than climbing. You can't really compare it to anything. My hardest OS on paper, and I did it in the sun, very un-me.
