Nodes in Ionian Islands

The administrative region does include all of the Ionian Islands with the exception of Kythera. It is a popular tourist destination and offers some climbing and Deep Water Soloing.

Zakynthos is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea and a well-known summer resort. It offers unique deep water soling spots as well as regular sport climbing.

This crag is located on the west side of the island.

Atokos is a small Greek island in the Ionian Sea off the coast of Acarnania. It is privately owned but you may land on the island.

Parking point 39°41'01.2"N 19°44'12.5"E

From the parking point we go up a small right uphill that leads us to olive groves with dry stones. From there with small traverses we pass the dry stones heading upwards. At the last dry stone there are some short rock faces, go right and we find the first fixed rope of the path. At the last fixed rope we go left, after a small traverse we find the crag.The approach is 10-15min.

Small crag with beautiful view, easy to access and with great comfort. Beginners and intermediate routes, well protected.
