Ascents in Balcony Helvetia as Onsight

What a route!!! Happy to finally onsight a 7c which is considered as hard....makes me feel a bit better about all the softies I ticked ;-)

Very pumpy as a warmup but super cool climbing.

good but very sharp warmup to start the day

very good climb that got trickier and trickier as it went, fun

second 12b onsight of the trip, very tricky crux where my pinky actually got some protagonism in the way i solved the sequence, making it very a interesting climb

first 12c onsight of the trip, making it very exciting as it is on my max onsight grade level ever. fun climbing with (thankfully) good rests. still needed endurance between the rests tho

So much fun. One of the best 7b I reckon.

There will be no end to mythos consumption on this trip. Great climb. Punchy commiting moves down low, some power needed at the bulge leaving the flake system, them a delicate traverse and anchor clip that I almost dropped.

Tidy warm up.

Nearly every hold is a tufa on this.

Sam knocked it out of the park flashing this. Burly.

Yeah pretty good for a slab. Sneakers.

Scary thin flakes but very nice!

Needs more traffic but could be a classic in the grade and style. Grey slab to a grey wall and some interesting flowstone features. I would've called the route caramel macciato.
