A beautiful wood of Beech trees with volcanic boulders.
A beautiful wood of Beech trees with volcanic boulders.
For the layout of (some of) the boulders and a few topos see https://www.facebook.com/SorianoBoulder or http://digilander.libero.it/dsrin/Faggetabloc.htm (note, they're in Italian)
The wood is a public land, but a protected area, full of history, and seeking Unesco status. Bouldering is 'tollerated' and lots of climbers visit the area, but please be extra considerate, clean and try to leave only minimal signs of having been and bouldered, as locals tend to complain.
This crag does not have approach information. Could you describe the approach to this crag?
