Description

The Punakaiki Valley is home to a few small limestone sport crags. Easy access and fantastic views make this a worthwhile visit for any climber in the area.

Access issues

The crags and access are on private land. Respect the area by leaving all gates as you found them, picking up rubbish, and leaving the dog at home. Climbing here is a privilege not a right.

Approach

At the Punakaiki river bridge turn left onto gravel road, open gate next to cattle yards, shut gate, drive 200m and Weka Wall is located on your right.
