Ascents of Lay Back and Enjoy It

First climb of the day. I always struggle to adjust to the style at Waipapa. Cool route, was scared in places.

Technical start leads to glorious laybacking all the way up to the chains. Loved this one!

First 3 draws on. Slipped at crux. Think 18 is probably right when dirty. Scrubbed it a bit on the way down.

Bring a brush!

No idea what happened here! Totally knackered, and I ended up zig-zagging between about 3 different routes. Not pretty, but fun

fell off this as a warm up haha... not a bad route but too short to get a star

Got the layback foot sequence wrong, made clipping very barn doory. Good fun. Current guide says 18 but I reckon not.

Warm up climb. Had a fall peeling off the crux move. Should have gone down and reclimbed from bottom but was too lazy. Bit dirty, need to bring a brush next time.

If you can't layback, don't get on this.
