Ascent of Camino del ray by Paul Frothy Thomson

Mega mega mega. 60m 7b+... Try and imagine it! First 40m is super-sustained 7a intensity moves with 1 sequence at 7a+, the top 15m (or so) is probably 6c. Done with 3 monstrous whippers and about 4 rests (we were running out of daylight so I couldnt afford any more big falls). 20 bolts over 60m = bloody runout. Pockets, crimps, long techy seam-crack, desperate pebble pulling, slab and stemming. Demanded every climbing skill ive learned in 7 years in the 1hr 15min I was on this!
