Ascents in Alzira having Beta

Vía muy interesante, se nos hizo más complicado el último largo en las últimas chapas en la sección final de placa (no se si la hicimos correctamente ya que para mi ese último largo correspondería más bien con un grado de 6a o 6a+). Al llegar a la última reunión sólo encontramos una chapa oxigada, así que no rapelamos y bajamos andando.

Buenísima roca, vía de continuidad, la bavaresa final es intensa pero sale bien.

I was faint-hearted

Barely managed the physical overhang at the start. But had to take a rest on the thin crux mid way. The rest is okay.

Nice route, the start is harder and the rest gets easier. Fixed gear in really good shape.

Nice climb we did to practice multi-pitch technique just after taking a course. We actually went to the wrong second anchor and ended up doing 4 pitches. The second anchor is a bit hidden to the right of a roof, we saw an anchor to the left and went for it but this was the anchor of a different route.

La placa está un poco sobada pero aun así la via es muy buena

Bloque de 3 chapas luego un par de reposos reguleros y apretón final en la reu. Via brutalísima!

Physical start. Wind was so strong it was literally blowing me off balance so I was like nope and lowered down. Maybe will repeat another day, maybe not.

Bouldery start with a crazy hard crux in the middle of the route. Harder than most 7b's I've tried. Cold and frustrated, I lowered... not sure if I'll repeat.

It's a cool route with a really technical start that moves into a weird arete thing. I got confused and was sketched out by the strong winds so I grabbed the quickdraw 🥲 Realized it wasn't so difficult though after lowering and repeating the sequence on TR. Ay la cabeza... still recommend though!

Probably one of the best, most flowy routes I've ever done (period, and) in this grade. Immediately wanted to repeat it after. This shall be my go-to warm up route whenever I find myself in this sector. Tacto buenisimo!!

Bouldery start followed by sustained, slightly pumpy climbing, but if you take the time to shake out and read the route well, it's a comfortable finish to the anchor.

Muy facil en el principio y despues, placa tecnica/mantenida

Pies pulidetes pero aun así guapísima

Vía larga, muy disfrutona, con unas vistas espectaculares, merece la pena hacerla aunque el factor técnico no sea alto.

La via tiene un paso lateral en el que la chapa se queda a una distancia considerable, las chapas se encuentran en buen estado y la reunion también. Conveniente un par de cintas largas o empalmar cintas para que reducir el zigzagueo de la cuerda.

Felt quite hard for me today. Couldn't figure out the crux above midway and had to aid it.

Batiste later told me, that he found a shallow two-finger (sideways) pocket just above and right of the chalked flat sloper hold. But even getting there seems quite hard.

Great route. Really only starts when you get to the orange rock. But then the crack makes you work left and right. Pump increases as you go higher. Luckily there are also good rest positions, I just made it to the chains.

Thin section around mid-way

This route is run-out. It feels like you better don't want to fall on this one. The chimney is fairly easy though with good feet and hands throughout.

All the difficulty is in the lower section. Very relaxed climb as you go higher.

Could be a 5 if not for the one section above the small bulge in the middle (right above the loose blocks).

Easy start until the cruxy middle section. Overhang has good enough holds but you need to have enough strength and will power left.

The bolt just before the middle crux seems strangely out of the way - too far right - and makes you think where to go. You need to go left again.

For the quickdraw just above the overhang, a long quickdraw is better suited to avoid an open gate situation.

La termino colgandome en varios tramos. El crux de la via me lo salto con caña porque no encuentro la secuencia correcta.

Todo bien hasta el techo, no encuentro la manera de pasarlo ni tras varios intentos colgando. Salgo por la via de la derecha.

Harder than El niño de la zarpa

Material de instalación nuevo. La reunión no tiene cadena, consta de dos juegos de anillas, en perfectas condiciones. Grado: Entre 5 y 6, valoro en 6 ya que el comienzo me resulto excesivamente complicado para valorar en 5.
