Ascents in Chiang Mai having Beta

2 long boulder sequences separated by a pretty good rest, with a heartbreaker right at the end. Sent on 10th attempt.

2nd go not send. gooood one love it.

Very dirty and greesey and extremely hard to clean. Fun moves but not worth the effort cleaning.

Really love the crux boulder sequence. 2 working burns, sent on 1st redpoint attempt.

Lock in your right heel hook and crank hard for the boulder move.

Crazy hard for me especially from last bolt to anchor

Hardest crux in the begining (If you can figure it out, you will do the rest;), pumpy middle and technical crimpy finish! Great!

My foot slipped 7m or 4 bolts before anchor

argh, two more bolts left (first burn) and 3 more bolts left (second burn)

I’m so happy to send my first 7b!! I rested as much as I could on the way to the top, bc the crux are power/lay back/endurance.

Pretty cool! Many cruxes of different style.

Absolutely amazing climb. You get slab, finger locks hand jams, big moves, crimps, slopers, technical moves, and exposure. wish I could have given it another burn probably would have got it. there's always another time.

Top rope until the crux, could not pass the crux.

Couldn't make the move. Not a good idea to try it in the sun.

deep 2-3 finger pockets on steep terrain. The climb is broken up into two sequences, with a good rest in between on a protruding (hollow) flake of sorts.

Haven't done enough 7a+ personally, but the individual moves did not feel physically demanding enough to warrant a grade higher than 7a+

2nd go. Finger tape for the win.

Hard to onsight on the last crux, but easy once you know the move.

Onsight attempt.........fell at the top two metres from the chains to be denied my first 7a+ onsight.........pumped but totally psyched.

Had another shot and blew a hand placement to come unstuck just above the 6th bolt........god damn it!

First shot put the draws on and worked the route a little. Sorted out the crux move and then went to the anchors....

Messed up a finger combination on an undercling pocket move and blew the sequence. One more take at the 12 the draw....then the anchors.....I think it'll go next time.....feeling positive

Pulled the mono undercling and through the crux, good rest and then sent the route.....very psyched indeed!

Put the draws on and felt like it was going t one a long afternoon.

Glad to have done this on my last day at Crazy Horse! Took a few goes to lead cleanly. Powerful and crimpy! All a growing boy needs!

I did the left side version, which is considered 6b.

Tried two times. Hard crimpy crux!

Put the draws on and worked through the crux to figure out what I needed to do.

Another work lap with one sit on the rope. Needed to find best rest before the crux.
