Ascents in Echoes having Beta

Looks like a Choss pile but actually climb pretty well. Hardest moves is the start first 2-3 bolts

A good confident lifting climb

I'd say soft 6a. Bouldery problem at the beginning on very good juggy holds. 4a climbing after 3 bolt up to the top. Very nice for beginners!

Share the same start with the 6b next to it and you get a no hands rest before a crimpy and technical crux with a hard to clip QuickDraw before another good rest and sequency moves to the top.

easy first two bolts on the layback crack and then crimps and more crimps followed by a pumpy finish.

Ye great line in a totally different style. Small pockets and crimps for ~5 qds. The tickmarks made this an indoor route.... i cant say this was an os... With qds in + having belayed a fr just before i go for flash. 7a+ is steep and yet seems quite appropriate. 7b+ is crazy high for this line

Hard

Now 7a+ in the guidebook because of the big rest far out to the left just before the chains. If climbed straightforwardly without this rest definitely 7b! Hard pulling on weird pockety gastons, underclings and crimps, and bad feet!

My home planet! The actual cruxes (into and out of the hole) didn't feel that hard to me, but I was still totally exhausted afterwards, wheezing through the steep, crimpy finish. This was like 99% onsight. I got a few helpful hints, but they weren't really make-or-break. Getting cheered on by the man Öztürk K. himself was a nice touch though.

Cool power endurance line coupled with good rest, First boulder crux is the hardest followed by a good rest and some pumpy climbing to another good rest and some very technical slabby climbing guards the anchor. Full value.

Has no crux, except for the crux over the bulge I guess Start is a bit 'meh' but the rest is good fun.

Second shot! Fun steep pocket pulling. Felt pretty easy on the send.

Cool, got the beta off Ersin. Tried going far left with the bolts, but the mono move is much easier. Reckon it'd go without too much trouble if I could spare the skin

If you like pockets this is the climb to get on. Frankenjura style climbing with one or two finger pockets get you psyched. #2ndgo

A fascinating route. Two boulder moves. I really liked this route. I didn't believe I could climb because there are long moves. Thanks to Mümin for this line.

2nd Go

Didn't feel like climbing today as was really sore from trying the 8a yesterday but just got on it to clear my mind, didn't expect it to go so smoothly. 3rd shot in total. Average rock at the bottom/start of the route and it gets better and better, crux involve a one finger mono and a bad two finger pocket before going to an alright slopper jug and then pumpy finish.

working out the moves, a cross hand boulder crux right off the first bolt and then to some easier terrain and some pumpy roof climbing to a crux up high while exiting the roof to the vertical part. Left draws on for the proj.

Thanks to Jon for that little beta change that I manage to get the send, 4th try in total and Fighting hard + Roof climbing style, mega pumper and first time I use 2 proper knee bars. Psyched.

After multiple beta changes and so much self doubt, I happily clipped the chains on this climb. It was a really great saga.

Quite hard to read but manage to get some beta from Anna, glad she had the draws up which help a bit for sure.

Chossy piece of shit! Absolute must do.

Best to top rope to clean the route, the climber will be about 20 metres to the left of the belayer after you finish this climb because of the traverse. Should definitely try it for the experience.

Have to find the correct start and it traverses right as well sort of the same start at the 6a+ next to it.

One hard move in the middle with and tricky sections after wards, quite run out towards the end.

Puntered the second shot but got revenge today feeling like a zombie. Gladly we humans have knees! Sick route although quite soft.

Second go. It has been recently downgraded from 8a to 7c+ and I agree with this.

Use to be 8a but got downgraded probably by some tall dude. A big span that is easy for tall people kinda shut me down and the rest of the moves isn’t that bad. Give me that 2cm of reach. Pretty power endurance route.

Awesome steep power endurance. Epic battle send on the 4th go thanks to Simon's crazy reachy cross-into-undercling beta. Very morpho first crux (sorry short people).

Got a nice sequence. Thought I might do it second go, then tore a massive chunk off the bottom wall before I got a clip in. Decked and smashed my head into the boulder at the base, luckily I was wearing a helmet otherwise brains everywhere. Biggest chunk I've ever seen come out of a wall - was just holding it as a sloper too ... guess the rains have weakened the rock or something

Boulder move was very nice for me and a short boulder. I did it the right heel hook and it was so much fun.
