Ascents in Top Alani as various tick types

It might be the best climb I've tried here so far. It's been climbed and graded 7C in the 2023 guidebook. Bouldery crux at the bottom from the tufa, to the under, to crimps, to slopers, to side pull, to weird block. Another crux from mantle, to 2 finger pockets undercling, to credit cards on a slab, finishing the sequence on positive slopers. After that, keep it together because it's not done yet with sharp crimps and holds on the overhang section before the anchor. It has it all!

Hard jump with the right hand to a hold which is not so good (it's apparently also possible to static this move), and then it's again hard to get to the next hold with the left because of the not so good right hand hold. Sharp holds but easier climbing in the upper half. Would have needed more tries.

sau schön unten plattig oben leistig, kurz schwer, dann Henkel. Sehr soft for the grade. An der Schlüsselstelle habe ich die Leiste rechts die nach rechts oben gedreht ist nicht mitgenommen. Unbedingt mitnehmen!!

7b+ in new guidebook. Hard crux section with technical footwork and mono.

Tricky, boulder-style. I can’t believe that it has “6b” category

Had everything ready, then the essential foothold broke off on the sending go. Had to find a new beta. Not enough left in the tank for a send. Maybe still 7b, but definitely harder and more reachy now.

Definitely not the easiest 7a. Need to refine my foot beta in the lower part.

Sinter + Platte + Überhang. Classic.
