Access issues inherited from Cademan Wood and Broad Hill

Cademan Woods has become increasingly popular with climbers, however, this increased traffic is presenting a threat to continued access. Please keep an eye on the access advice on UKC.com which will be more up to date than this guide. Many of the issues that come with increased traffic can be addressed if we park sensibly and pick up any litter found. Climbers need to show that they are having a positive impact on the local environment and community.

7B ★★ One Move Boulder

Sit at the left arete, eliminating the undercut and large flake present on Flake Pop.

Execute a challenging move to a bad sloping hold, then complete by reaching higher above.

Was previously 7A+ before some crystals broke off the starting right sloper.

6B ★ Flake Pop Boulder

To the immediate right of Mike's Arete, ascend using the flakes from a seated position, Eliminate the flakes and footholds positioned right.

6A ★ Mike's Seams Boulder

Sit-start using the small flakes located directly to the right of Flake Pop, eliminating the foot block.

4 ★ Big Flake Boulder

Sit-start the substantial flake situated at the left end of the Mike's Arete boulder, refraining from utilizing any foot block.

6A Penny Pincher Boulder

Sit-start the small prow located to the right of Mike’s Little Boulder. Embrace the awkwardness of the route in the most favorable manner.

6C Flake Free Traverse Boulder

Start as for Penny Pincher, then taking a lengthy step left, bypassing all significant flakes, the apex of the boulder, and the blocks positioned between the two boulders.

Continue traversing leftwards, then navigate around the arete before ascending upward, finishing up the jug holds located on One Move.
