Summary

Just under the main outcrop, multiple boulders can be found.

Description

As the name suggests, the place is better suited for bouldering, the outcrop here is no higher than 4 meters and the holds are less polished than what you will find at the higher tier. There are not many named problems that I could find, but all of these have solid landings and the bottom of the boulders are pretty clean, thanks to the sheep which acts as a friendly four-legged lawnmower in the area. Ideal for families as some of the boulders are pretty low and have more holds than you can shake your stick at, so the little climbers will have no issues topping out.

Access issues

No issues, but beware not to wander over to the adjacent clay shooting establishment.

Approach

Turn right after passing through the gate, before you reach the higher tier. All of the boulders are located at the right-hand side of the gate.

Ethic inherited from Harborough Rocks

No bolting, or chipping.

Grade Route

Sit start for the grade.

20 Meters from the Boulge. Variations are possible on good holds.

Little bit polished where it matters the most.

Mantle up, using the large juggy flake which runs across the wall. Fun.

Depends on how you start it, can be quite hard. Double pockets are the center of this route, reaching these is, well a matter of reach, and the route is not finished there.
