Routes in San Francisco Bay Area

A line of micro edges leads straight up to the fencepost to the right of the crack. The holds are small and painful, but the rock quality is good enough. The Bay Area Rock guide lists this as 5.11+, but it's probably harder.

Up the obvious face with huecos facing down the hill.

On the uphill side of the boulder. Sit start on jug and slopey right arete. Stay on face while slapping your way up.

As for Dog Dish Traverse, but stay off the top of the boulder.

Left of the tree on the downhill side of the boulder. Stand start on small chest height crimps then up and left to top out. Stand start on higher, better hold is V1.

The honeycomb arete left of Waimea Wall / Roof Route. Bad landing.

Looks easy. Definitely is not.

Direct start to 'Nutcracker', ending in the same place.

Traverse the boulder from 'Descent' to past 'Stonewall Arete', staying below the line of obvious good holds (on 'Stonewall Traverse'). Good in both directions.

Slaps up the prow. Watch the tree.

Top is off.

While it's possible to go right around Indian Rock, most people start at the very bottom of the path and finish at the top of the top set of stairs (after crossing the Stairway Slabs).

Circumnavigate the isolated boulder. Crux is getting around the low bulge that's the start of 'Undercling Problem'.

Slaps up the steep, blunt arete, then drop from the jug. Can be extended by starting further right (V6).

Traverse either direction all the way around the boulder, staying off the top. V4 if you use the top of the North Face between The Lieback and Unnamed 3.

Start as for 'High Spirits', but traverse right.

Sit start.

Start as for 'Kitty Hawk', but move right.

Starts near the end of the 'Trailside Traverse'.

Start as for '38 Special', but move up and right.

Sit start on the sidepull, then up and slightly left.

Start as for 'Scenic Cruise'.
