5.10a up to 2nd bold. Difficulty increases dramatically thereafter, with the 5.12a crux (and the most runout) around the 3rd bolt. After the crux, 5.10b/c to the anchors.

There is a sidepull hidden under the left bottom part of the rock, combined with low right hand makes a great lay down start.

First real multi session project with all the ups and downs then gratifying up

I was able to use 3 no-hands rests--bat hang, knee-bar, and just plain standing up squeeze in a groove, all before going around the face to the dyno finish. The hardest move was no more than a V5.

Start on jugs (loose). Reach right for a low crimp on arete. Slap your way up the right of the arete, to the shallow pocket, and the slopey topout.

SDS (Sit-Down-Start) on a good right hueco and a low left crimp, then up to more slopey huecos, to the big hole on the lip.

SDS on the crack to the center pocket and reach up for the good crimp on the lip. Slopey edges for the left and right, and your right knee makes the top out easier.

Fun direct start. A bit run-out. Worth taking some natural protection. Fun and long climb.

Putrefaction up to just above the large circular hole, then left to the top of Lead to Death. I estimate this to be a 10b with the crux being getting past the large hole.

Slipped off twice while trying to climb up the initial slab too far to the left where there are no holds.

Seconded with brother Brad leading.

Pretty cool feeling of exposure for a top rope route. Worth checking out goat rock just for this route.

I'd put this closer to 5.7 or 5.8. My kids LOVED this route, thus classic.

Don't look down or risk getting psyched out.

The moves are 5.9+, but it's quite scary for beginning climbers. The 5.10b rating is for the mental game needed to pull the roof.
