Ascents in Rat's Peak

This one escaped me for awhile: finally sent it.

The more you stay on the arete edge, the harder it is. I't's a toprope setup and has chains now.

I'ts over before you realize it.

Start in the left facing dihedral on the north side of the west face. Finish up on by moving right onto Ratarête. A top rope anchor can be set around the blocks to the west side of the summit.

This climb is located in the center, or just right of center, of the west face. A top rope anchor can be set by suspending runners out over the ledges at the top; watch out for rope drag.

Start by ascending the crack alcove running up and right of the center of the west face, watch out for the rat droppings. Move left out of the crack alcove and finish up the face to ledges at the top. Use the same top rope as for Rat Race.

It's just fun crusing up this one, and you can use a smorgasboard of different moves.

This climb is located on the south end of the west face. Climb up to and over some blue spray painted graffiti. Move slightly left and up and then finish by moving right to gain the top of the detached block on the southwest side of the summit. A top rope anchor can be set around the large detached block on the southwest side of the summit.
