Ascents in Military Wall

Part of it is 11d, I've done that.

Really nice climbing but it is pretty run out with decking potential onto the ledge... Didn't feel very safely bolted

Fun slab. Would be better if you couldn't cheat out right onto jugs (I didn't)

Second try after falling off the first move. Didn't use cheater stones

Tough crux at the top when pumped

Probably the best of the three 5.12b here

Last climb at RRG this trip, wish we had got on this earlier. One go only to clean. Got to half way, had rest, all moves quite ok

A feisty warm up.

Nice arete, had to add a rock to starting cairn to reach starting holds!

One fall at second last bolt where the massive holds disappear and there’s desperate chalk smears on crap holds. Got back on and went to end. The overhanging laybacking 5.9 dihedral was harder- tore my palm.

It was ok, all other warmups occupied. Spaced bolts

Second Try. Maybe could have onsighted, if I had chosen to start from the right, but I chose to start from the left and got a bit stuck at the first quickdraw. This route is absolutely all time, it's soooooo seahawk! The flow is incredible, the moves are unique, the holds are pleasant. Truly amazed by how much variety of quality routes there are in the Red. Climbed it very quickly on the redpoint try and felt very secure the whole way. One of the best I've ever done!

My favorite pitch I've ever done, is the last pitch I've done. This thing is fricking sick. Best warmup for the military wall by a long shot with sick movement and sick holds the whole way. Maybe a bit short, but Gawd is it fun. Slope-y sidepulls down low and a nice jug every few moves. Frick me, I love climbing. Always a great day climbing with Mason!

The runout kinda sucks for leaders at the grade. Not worth doing, even if you are stronger

Epic line with a low crux and a lot of sucker holds

Grade changes based on if you go direct or right. Felt 10+ to the right but 11b direct. Cool start
