Ascents in Lumpy Ridge having Beta

Followed Owen and then sent on lead next go. Hardest I've ever had to try on a rope before.

We did the first 2 pitches of Sidetrack and moved back to Mainliner. Great route with as least the pitches I climbed.

Super classic at its grade! Easy to find the route and great protection. The start is a little bit tricky, 5.6, R.

Amazing route. Danny led the crux pitches. From memory I had a take on the first pitch but did the rest clean. Some tenuous climbing!

Awesome introduction to granite crack climbing.

Great route. The first two pitches are really fun.

Not a great climb. Roof felt harder than anything on White Whale.

Pitch two is pretty good. Sustained 5.6 liebacking.

Excellent climb! Would highly recommend to anyone who can climb the grade. Pro is good the whole way up.

Second pitch is one of the best / most sustained 5.8+ pitches I've ever done. Classic.

Climbed the jugs, heel-hooked the ledge. Straightforward.

Followed pitch 1, but found at the end the altitude was kicking my ass -- what with being a lowlander -- and had to back off. Rapped off tat to the anchors for George's Tree then to the ground from there.

P1 was thrutchy, but fun.

Not bad...but found myself wishing I was one climb over on Climb of the Ancient Mariner.

Swung leads...combined the first two pitches. The chimney pitch was a tough one mentally for my partner just breaking into trad multi-pitch leading. Traverse pitch was very fun lead!

Mental crux at and after the thin 5.8 crack below the roof. I felt the roof was easy (more 5.8) once I found the boomer bucket next to the crack, and especially with the new bolt right at your waist...happy hunting.

Done easily in 3 pitches both times and love the 1st and 2nd pitches.
