There are a few top rope crags (too big for boldering) and longer climbs on Eastern Cliffs. These are at least one good lead long and probably some two leads long.

From Santa Fe Ski Area Parking by Windsor Trailhead hike up Windsor Trail about a mile to the wilderness entrance. Turn right and follow trail about 3/4 mile to a grassy rise (If you continue on a bit over 1/4 mile the trail will end on part of Raven's Ridge, which climbs up the flank of Deception Peak. You can also look across a deep canyon to view the Eastern Cliffs which climb a little way up the eastern side of the Eastern Cliffs.
From the grassy rise bushwack southeast downhill then south to bypass the canyon. You may intercept a trail and camping sites in this area. Then go uphill toward the Eastern Cliffs and adjacent crags. Hiking time about 2 hours. Distance about 2 1/2 miles.
