Bring many 2 & 3 camalots. Pitch 3 is about as good as 5.9 trad climbing gets!

Unreal granite. Granite tufas!

Super clean granite. As good as it gets. The next day I was standing near the Charlatan when the Witch was struck by lightning! Exciting!! Lightning and then snow/sleet/rain on the way back. We were a bit ambitious weather wise

sustained hard pitches (though not as sustained as Don Juan) 20,21,23,22 all very good exept the 2nd which has some sus flakes you HAVE to pull on! Dan Osman's solo was nuts I think.

We did it in 2 mega pitches. The first half of the route is the best.

The first pitch is a real exercise in foot trust. the rest is a perfect blemd of finger crack, corner and slab climbing. Really unique and one of the better climbs here (though all the routes I did here were classic) all pitches were very solid at their grades. (20,21,16!!,21,16)

this is the newer 11c route just right of sirocco. Pretty good, with the last move being the crux.

finger cracks don't get any better than this. imagine res corner, epic journey, cannibis crack (but a friendlier more asthetic version), cock corner and then satanic majesty all stack on top of one another! Three thumbs up!!
