Very beta specific slap and face climbing. Fantastic climb.

Did not feel like v4 to me. Felt closer on the v8 at the fridge. Under cling section felt quite hard.

Foot slip on first attempt. For such a short boulder this thing is awesome.

Slopy, compressiony, and fun. Felt very close but second last move to the good crimp is tricky.

Onsight solo to get up to the Prayer for a Friend finger crack. Did the 5.8 corner at the top.

Supporting Adrian on the FFA of this 20 year old Fitz Cahall project. We climbed the first five pitches to the crux on October 5 with Adrian leading everything and both of us freeing every pitch. The climbing turned out to be way harder and more scary/dangerous/loose than either of us had expected so this took more time and energy than expected. Adrian tried the crux pitch unsuccessfully and I had a go on TR (also unsuccessful lol) and we summited then rapped. The next day (October 6) we hiked up and soloed the West Ridge to access the top crux pitch. Adrian sent second go after we jammed to Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs which was a pretty unreal moment in my life and climbing. Supporting your friends on things that mean a lot to them has got to be one of the coolest things you can do.

always TR this route. elevator at the bottom, move the feet up and deadpoint for the two finger ledge before the jug to start. stem around at the top. win

maybe bring one 3, 3 #2's, 2 #1, 3 .75, 3 .4, .5 and call it good. decent route. got the pump going. start was stemmy and fun

low commit fun! use the crack!

don't let anyone tell you "it's all there". not for this route, just in life. take back your agency. don't be a wet blanket. you can send this even if it's somewhere else. ohmmmmmmm

misfire going up left, don't do it. hung, came back down and TR'd from second bolt and lead the rest. stay right it's just easier but spicy from 3/4 bolt going around the corner. core up and be delicate

so good! get on this. don't listen to the others this is definitely a 5.9 even compared to the 10's nearby. you should never feel pumped. or scared on this route.

Unbelievably classic.

We asked our friends if it was hard. They said “No, it’s just fun.” They lied. What they should have said was “Yes, very, but it’s also great fun!” We got sandbagged.

Exceptional! Pitch two really is one of the best. And that final 5.10 pitch, oh boy.

Hard! managed to get off the ground but spanned out for the left hand slap. pretty cool bouldering is hard. So much effort to move 3-4 cm....
