Ascents in World by Ben Armstrong

Nice climbing apart from the "50% friend 50% foe" bush. The third pitch is nothing special (about as thrutchy as it looks). Take a number a couple of #4s (or a #5) for the top section.

Cool moves at the start, easy wide crack to finish. Also very worthwhile.

Pure handcrack. Definitely worth checking out.

Nice little layback. Probably a few grades harder than 12 though.

Dirty, but has some good moves and a surprisingly desperate finish.

Thesarvo suggests that it goes free at 21. Seems way harder then that though. Quite an aesthetic and sustained line.

Not bad for a squeeze chimney. Very cool move switching from the chimney to crack.

Excellent little adventure. It took us 10 hours car to car, mostly simul-climbing with a couple of conventional pitches by a first time trad leader. Gear is actually pretty reasonable.

Surprisingly pleasant little offwidth. Good introduction to the dark arts.

This line has serious classic potential (after a bit of cleaning). Sustained and varied with several awesome cruxes, but way harder than advertised. Felt at least as difficult as Ultrasound.

Steep and sustained. Could do with a little less shrubbery though.

P1 is a bit average, P2 and 3 are both really nice.

Super hard for a 21.

Bailed off one of the unnecessary bolts. Sticking to the off-width (rather than bridging) might bring the grade down, I'm not sure though. Still pretty burly.

A bit loose, but not ridiculous.

It's got some really good climbing, but also some really not good climbing. Only attempt if you're comfortable dealing with choss. Rob dislodged an oven sized block 30m above me. I jumped off the ledge onto my anchor, and the rock and it's debris bounced pretty much where I'd been belaying. The two cruxes are both very good and the final pitch is really pleasant. Pitch 1 is a bit deathy though.
