Ascents in World as Red point by Match

This is one of the best experiences of my life: finding this route, developing it, and putting it all together for the send.

It may just be a piece of rock; however, this experience represented something much more potent in my life. I cannot describe what that is, yet I now understand.

First Ascent! Went so smoothly thanks to the person at Boronia cheering me on at the crux. I originally bolted this with 3 less bolts (a bit to runout for me)

a fun lap showing geoff and adrian this route. pitch 3 and 4 are by far my fave. 80m dynamic rope from the black hole cave. Just reaches the bottom on stretch as a single rope abseil.

done using wires on the carrots for extra spice!

Warmup

Very fun!

I used two alpine draws where the route changes and there was no drag at all.

Static to the jug no need for a dyno.

Great fun

In the pouring rain to get my gear back. riveting!

fuck this is a great old school 18!

In this modern era bolts should be moved higher to make cleaning less of a shit fight.

in approachies, I very much enjoy this route and how it has cleaned up

a route of just underclings mega! Second shot placing draws.

Good jams, stemming and roof. Still quite mossy. Would reccomend top out anchors and a bit of a scrub

An excellent head wall extension that will take all your power with some rad moves using flakes.

Solid for 23 at the short and tall end.

for historical value: Liam kicked a rock off narrowly missing me. When lowering we found that the rope had been gouged at the halfway mark.

Liam boinked 15m then biner blocked to get down.

I have since inspected the route and it is very safe to climb
