From Gurye town, go to the bus terminal. Take bus 2-11 bound for Guryong (구룡). Get off at Yongdu village (용두) then head east through the motorway underpass and across a bridge to Yongseo village. In May 2024 there were only four buses a day running. Leaving Gurye at 6:30 and 9:30am. Return buses from Yongdu back to Gurye were at approx 15:35 and 17:35.

From Gurye-gu Railway Station 구례구, take a bus bound for Geumpyeong-ri 금평리 to Yongseo Village 용서마을. Buses run every hour or so. It will save time if you take a taxi. However, if there are several of you, it is a pleasant walk that passes through the countryside and villages, which have certain rustic charm. It takes twenty-five minutes on foot from the station. Walk out the station and turn right. Follow the road towards Yongseo Village.

Ideally, the best way to get to the crag is grab a taxi at Gurye-gu Station and ask the driver to take you to Yongseo Pokpo 용서폭포

Once you arrive at the Yongseo village, follow the road up the hill behind the parking lot to a small creek crossing, then follow the creek up to the waterfall. Alternatively you can gain access via private property to the right of the creek for 5000won.
