With Terry. Think I had my blinkers on on third pitch and strayed into the chimney of Sweet Maggots which had an eexciting exit. The Showpiece Crack itself was great though and had quite a runout for the grade - maybe a #5 cam would help there.

with Terry. Really missed my double ropes on this. Lots of mucking around trying to reduce rope-drag detracted from the climb. The start was a bit dodgy too but maybe I'm just a wimp.

Added the cleaned-up new start which was harder than expected but much nicer than the original.

With Norm. The piton is wonky as, make sure to hang out and place wires instead.

James ran first two pitches together with 60m double ropes.

Good climbing but hasn't been done in years. James combined 2&3. Must have gone too far left on pitch 4 as the final pitch wasn't the easy climbing as promised

Tried to sort out a better start but 1 move short. Better finish up the arête though. Probably not repeated in 20 years

Did first 3 and a third pitches but running late so rapped off.

Took a whipper when foot popped with rope out to clip gear. Quite surprised.

Old favourite

Cold day. Good to start on this after a few weeks off. A rare face climb that would actually be better protected if you caried a couple of hexes.

Awesome chimney on second pitch. Variant final pitch is best finish option.

Great line but poor protection, fragile rock, vegetation
