Quartz ritch Julunggal crag is about 25km south of Mount Isa

Head south from Mount Isa on Boulia Mount Isa high way. 2.5km after the Razorback turn off about 15km out of town turn left onto a dirt track. Pass through the unlocked (but closed) gate and follow the track east then south follow this for about 10km then turn off to Julunggal is on your right. Suggest using GPS.

Easy start, up a short crack then right through the crux to top.

This small crack climb originally free soloed by C.Brodie 1990 is described in the north west climbing guide as unnamed (10). Now with some cleaning and addition of 2 anchors at the top, the route can be safely climbed on trad. Beware still some loose stuff at the top

southern end of crag 4-5 meters north of MMTMT some nice moves with a high crux.

Direct line up overhanging triangular face at the right hand end of the crag. Sustained and fingery climbing over chossy rock but thankfully short.
