Ascensiones en The Organ Pipes

This, as a single pitch, is one of the best pitches of climbing in the multiverse. This should NEVER be broken up into two pitches: why spoil a perfect pitch? I would have chopped the superfluous midway anchors during my onsight free solo but I forgot to bring my crowbar that day.

Nice climbing. Many of the bolts on the 22 to the left are within reach, perhaps one route taking the best line would've been better than contriving two routes.

You can lower back to the halfway anchor with a 70m rope with a little to spare( knot in end!). Megaclassic, retro flash after doing it many years ago.

Fun climb! Small cam(s) useful before 1st bolt, 0.5 up high with sling. Think I did it ages ago so an alzheimers OS haha

Really bloody hard. Didn’t work the crux out, felt absolutely desperate. Inspiring line!

Got to hop on this again after all my beta dreams over the last week. One go on lead and then a TR go. Such an incredible climb with amazing face climbing followed by a tough mantle and cool lay back to top it off. Hopefully will be on it again sooooon for the send.

2nd shot. Really good techo arete climbing, quite insecure and good value. I used the "off limits" rock on the right at the start as it was too contrived to avoid - sue me.

Had a play on the bottom section. Couldn't make the move past the 3rd bolt, but the section below that came together fairly quickly. Very cool climbing. Keen to get back on it.

Physically not hard but there are a lot of thin moves above small gear. Gear is good but not plentiful. Take small cams.

fun, and some good fall practice. real minging crimpys, and then a sequency crux, that i stick clipped through, after a few falls. quite nice climbing, good sidepulls.

Wasn’t feeling overly strong today after a couple rest days. Ended up having 3 burns on the second pitch, worked it all out and was cruising but rushed my sequence in the crux and fell off, super classic route such wicked movement and flow 🌈⚡️

Immobilised with fear after a month off climbing so seconded the route instead and had a great time

IMHO the best crack of this grade in southern Tas. It has some rests but the climbing is very consistent.

Makes for a really nice finish to Clown Face and Circus Interuptus.

Felt kinda hard today: maybe 21? Or maybe I was just a bit tired?

happy happy happy to onsight! felt like i was climbing super smoothly through beautiful crimpy face. really flowy and engaging. big rest just where i needed it, then a cool mantle that felt a bit spicy and desperate. finished up an awesome little layback.

Mega hang dog, it started raining, I started clip sticking. Super lovely climb and prefect proj, will be having beta dreams until I can try it again.

As good as heat pump for sure

I need kneebar lessons.

Fun crux, committing. Good gear and good climbing with plenty of stances. Would do again.

Great climb - loved the mantle and the whole route kept me working hard. The sport climbing era on the pipes kicks off.

Underrated.

Alex put in a solid effort leading this one. Great to do it on the toppy.
