Ascensiones en Central Tablelands

Made the start pretty messy then proceeded to drop it at the scoop crux*2. Urgh.

Note to self: Also time to lay off RH crimping for a while.

Couldn't work out even the entry into the crux, pulled through.

Warm up 2 star dogshow climbing, but with marzipan at the base a 5 star dogshow. 19 clean but as techy as always.

Put draws up then sent next try felt soooo much cruisier than last time!

Pumped off right at the anchors touching my face on my flash attempt. Should have just victory whipped!! Happy with this and getting some endurance back since injury.

Always fun!

Some very small holds for a 19, climbs well though..

Went the extra two bolts but the rock wasn't great.

What a sick climb!

Completely unexpected send. First go put up draws to break but nearly gave up there as it was SOAKING from there to anchors. Second go was drier, linked to the break but took there cause I knew that I never linked break to anchor and I find the moves around the last bolt as hard if not harder than the lower crux. Worked the top a bit on second go but mostly stuck to my beta (sadly there’s no secret jug up there). Third go linked to break again, spent as long as needed in there, and went up fully prepared to be thrilled to fall off at last bolt or to peel off anywhere because of a wet foot. Somehow kept fighting and found myself clipping the anchor! 🤩

Classy’ish wall

This route actually has it all. Good line with 2 cruxes very different in style. Very enjoyable and nice position

Really showed how rusty I am at jamming. Was rescued several times by crimps on the face. Absolutely mega line in any case. Some of the nicest finger locks I've pulled on. Top is particularly memorable. You're pumped to buggery by intense thin hands and fingers and the final few moves are deliciously droppable. Epic!!!

A real pity it's so inconsistent. First move is really quite hard but the grade 20 face climbing that follows is pure excellence. If the start were a little easier or the rest was a little harder it would be absolutely mega.
