this was a bit hard for a 14. Climbed this to access cranky

Warm-up with brother and so teaching

Fun and engaging. Good warm up for the crag

Pleasant climbing. Looks as if it will be hard but stays ok all the way.

First outdoor climb! Placed quickdraws myself!

Did not use any gear. Nice face climb. The top only has 2 carrot bolts, so you need to walk around to get down.

Used optional .5 cam at top in horizontal break.

Climbed without optional cam towards the top. Fun line

Stay left around 2nd bolt. #2 or #3 cam in break below belay anchors

its hard. Substantially undergraded

Repeat. Still think it's stiff for the grade (could be 17 at some crags).

BD #3 cam for the horizontal.

Excellent start with a rock over onto a high foot.

Pleasant enough climbing on some questionable rock. A bit stiff for the grade.

Put a cam in the upper break to protect the final mantle.

First outdoor climb for my 2 indoor climbing kids and a couple of their mates (ages 11 to 9). Combined with Carrie Bradshaw (#23) route. Kids did awesomely and loved it! We accidently missed the approach up, continuing along the headland but where glad we did or we would have missed seeing a large seal basking on rocks below. Plan was to do Jezebel (#21) but the closest twin bolts to build anchor from was more appropriate for Starboard Barnacles, to it's left.

Seemed a bit contrived to me.

Challenging 14 i thought.

Wandered into Carrie Bradshaw here and there. Especially at the start.

Warm up. Repeat.

Ineffective warm up on finger-numbingly cold rock.

Enjoyable slabby route. 3 carrots on way up and carrot DBB at top.

Would be good but the top is really dirty right now.

Really thin and crispy for 14, and oh yeah, that's not really a sport route... Cams are a really good idea.

Fingery holds tough in places at the end of the day. Not a lot of rests.
