Old school 18 for sure. Good slab moves though

Brushing en route, nice and almost feels as secure as JTD these days

Nice, shame rock isn’t better, looks like it has been cleaned recently

Not clean today because it was pretty mossy. Gave it a brush but needs more

Cleaning session. I quite like this, though short

A bit worthless, however, the rock is cool at the start.

Watagan slabbers are hardcore it seems. We were thinking to jump on the Smear to Oblivion but this '14' took care of that notion. One move in particular felt quite hard for the grade. Good climb.

Amazing honeycomb texture. Felt substantially easier than the one to the right and the Haasnoot guide does rank them the other way around.

Day 18 of our climbing trip and the gas is beginning to run low. Abandoned the frigid interior in favour of coastal mornings where we're not scraping ice off the tent. Getting in to the crag carpark proved more challenging than expected. One road into the park closed, another so trenched it looks like a fleet of tanks have been down it - it's surprising where you can get a Prius, but that turned out to be a step too far. Crag itself was lovely despite a keen wind. After we cleared the ivy off the slab, we enjoyed this route. Felt pretty stiff for a 14.

Felt like a 19+ - maybe we were on the wrong route..

First proper whip off the second bolt. Got really close and personal with Sax. Climbed again for Redpoint tick
