Resumen

On a side street between two streets lays a rock formation with mostly slab features. It is a nice view in the neighborhood for sunsets and sunrises and that's about it.

Descripción

A large boulder, mainly slab, no more than around 20ft tall. The rock itself feels good and has rarely broken.

Restricciones

City Property. Ottawa has no official policy so much like Hogs Back - Tolerated.

Acceso

Walk on sidewalks or roads to reach. Driving/ parking can be a bit tricky due to the large number of one-way roads.

A slab problem with a standing start and high feet.

Named "Got Chalk?" because I spilt my chalk bag when downclimbing this problem, hence all the chalk in the photo.

A slab problem with high feet and tiny footholds near the bottom. Do not use the side edge feature of the rock for feet.

PA: Christian Ward, 24 Nov 2023

The easiest climb/downclimb for the boulder. Acting as a ladder down after topping out.

PA: Christian Ward, 24 Nov 2023

A crack feature that spans up the right side of the boulder. Compression moves are essential for this climb.

PA: Christian Ward, 24 Nov 2023

A sidepull start, many compression moves. A large mantle/rock over at the top before the topout.

PA: Christian Ward, 24 Nov 2023

To the right of Sacramento, where the fall would be much deadlier (hence the name Consequences). Fortunately it is the same moveset of Sacramento for the most part and is quite secure.

PA: Christian Ward, 24 Nov 2023

To the left of the Bartholomew Crack lays a double jug start. Go up from there.

PA: Christian Ward, 4 Mar

A traverse from the right side of the boulder to the left, remaining 2/3 up the boulder at most parts.
