Der Südfels hat die höheren Routen, die Routen am Nordfels starten von einem Band, es gibt dort Standhaken zum fixieren beim Sichern, die Rücksäcke deponiert man am besten am rechten Rand unter den ersten Routen.

Parken auf dem Wanderparkplatz Eichhölzle. Dem Waldweg am linken Ende zum Trauf folgen und dann linkshaltend bis zu den Bänken am Kahlenstein (ca. 15 min.). Dem Wanderweg bergab Richtung Bad Überkingen folgen, er führt direkt am Südfelsen vorbei. Durch die Höhle in diesem kommt man auf die andere Seite und dort nach ca. 20m an den Nordfels.
