Fun steep climbing. I found the exit from the groove awkward.

Took me a few tries to get the bottom moves, then it was a battle. So pumpy

Took ages but think I might have the start sequence moves sort of down

Lots of goes getting the first moves down, then dogged to the top. Got to the third bolt clean. Found a nice clipping position for the 4th bolt

Tried a top rope burn but couldn't even do the start moves. Fingers must've been done

Made it clean to just past the 4th bolt. Just need to climb the top bulge more efficiently and fight the pump.

Came super close to getting the whole thing clean but peeled off on the last hard move

Another two burns on lead, came off around the 4th bolt. I need to find a more efficient clipping position, probably need to climb further then clip.

Another day another fall at the fourth bolt...

Pumped out at the second crux once again

Got it putting draws up. Had second bolt clipped but I'll claim it!

Super cool climbing, techie and strenuous. My first 23! 3 attempts, Working the moves on 1st, pumped out at last draw on 2nd. And got it on the 3rd! stoked

2019 Port hills 300 - awesome jugs through roof, pulling on is tricky, and so is the top, but only just

surprising ly solid horn feature at second bolt. line is cramped on headwall, might veer onto Beer hunter holds

Awesome true onsight, great holds all the way up, plenty of clipping jugs in the steepness. A few wobbly blocks but they seem keyed

the third bolt has been replaced

Only the moves to the third bolt seemed near 25.

very reachy start, even hard off cheater stones

Bit slippery down low, and looked dirty up high but the holds were clean. Lotsa jugs

Hung at the 1st before figuring out the sequence, fired it from the ground second go. Listed as a 24 in the Burnell guide, which seems right.

Fun, juggy lower section and a more techy than expected upper headwall. Good fun!

Better than expected, and characteristic Britten: a low boulder problem leads to a jug haul. Still, steeper than some above the crux.
