From Dong-Seoul Bus Terminal 동서울버스터미널, take a bus to Uijeongbu 의정부. From Uijeongbu 의정부, take a bus heading to Wasu-ri 와수리 and transfer to a bus bound for Maewoldae 매월대. There is a small restaurant called “매월산장” Maewolsanjang at the end of the line where you can stay the night. At the restaurant, look for the sign that shows you the direction to Maewoldae-amjang. Hike up the trail by the sign (Don’t take the main trail by the stream or cross the bridge) for ten minutes until you arrive at Deokgu-bawi.
