Amphitheater

This boulder is just down hill from Moby Dick, and has lots of problems, more than detailed here, on it. Most every face, arête, eliminate or other variant has been climbed.

It is named for the scooping "bowl"-shape south face.

5.11a Jump Start

Climb the blunt arête at the south-west (left face of the bowl on the south face) corner of the boulder.

5.12a One Cut Above

Work up the steep arête on the east side of the boulder. This is the right side of the south-east arête.

5.7 The Down Climb

Easiest way off the boulder, on the east face of the boulder.

A couple thin moves to the biggest most obvious holds on the east face of the boulder.

Crux is first couple moves -- so actually easier than 5.7 down climbing if you jump down from a couple feet up.

5.10 Walkman

Left side of the north face.
