Top-rope attempt

Had one shot. Faffed around before committing to roof moves and pumped out going for nice holds near the top

didn't finish it, bloody hard

Difficult with hand holds

Fell two holds from top after pumped out on crux, next time ! Great fun route.

I actually quite like this thing even though I still can't do it. Some biceps might help.

F(*&ing hard. Clearly I am missing something here, although so was everyone else today. Direct start has a side-pull you need to lock to your ankles, and top half has hideous slopers from which I cannot move a muscle. I still haven't seen anyone do it including plenty of people who climb hard, although those who can reckon it's easy. Go figure. Titus felt it was more like 8a (29) !

Got up into the last of the underclings before reaching around the lip, but not strong enough to hold my feet on the smears. Very punchy little route and if you have puny little biceps like me you may struggle

Mistakenly finished up the right side instead of traversing left across that beautiful little roof. Next time then...

Heel hook onto a sloper is quite a difficult move

Good fun, though scary. 2/3 the way across the 'traverse'.

Tried on TR but since the rope wasn't running in a save way to top out I backed off it. Would be fun to lead it one day.

After yesterday's effort on the 3 18s, I was spanked & this one was just too go-ey. Dan belayed.

Another top rope play thing - finally figured the moves out, but it was getting dark and we were being eaten by mossies, so have to come back another day.

Evil evil climb - playing on it on top rope, didn't even come close to working out what the moves past the 2nd bolt would be.
