3rd shot, 1st RP go after figuring out lip pull beta. The beta: RF heel hooks pyramid while walking hands up on left sidepull until RH is on a crimp on top, toe LF to back of pyramid to make cut more controlled, cut feet and place RF on big edge on lip, throw RH to sloperjug. Then walk hands up and hold it together until the rest. Really brawny somewhat inelegant crux beta, but it’s the first rock climb I’ve ever sent with an actual toehook, so that’s pretty cool!

Woowwww was not expecting this today, but it went. Put the draws up, didn't feel good at all, second felt slightly better, but didn't pull through the crux came down, rested and went for one last go.... Out of a sudden I get myself passed the crux, I had done it from there, just had to keep it cool. Rested on the knee bar until I felt good and pushed it through, tried to get something back just before the last move and finally clipped the chains!!!!

Mega classic. Really pleased with how much I've improved since my last go 6 months back. Found and milked the rests along the way, including a knee bar. Pump management was much better and I had more confidence to go for the moves for some reason. Still reckon its pretty hard for the grade; The Kraken is materially easier. Gear for me: used most of a double rack with 3 reds, 1 #4. Couple of nuts.

What a beautiful route, sustained and technical right to the top. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Cam was nice to have but the runout is on probably only ~17-18ish terrain so not 100% necessary.
